Having professionally performed with multiple classical ballet companies, it was only natural for Lynn’s mind and body to cherish the benefits of yoga and pilates. Lynn came to yoga in her 20’s, through a consistent practice of meditation in order to calm her mind from the hours spent rehearsing in a studio. She started practicing Pilates at the age of 12 after a diagnosis of scoliosis and continued her training through adulthood. Her 25+ years teaching experience with children, athletes, and adults combined with her knowledge of proper physical alignment and anatomy allows her to freely and creatively work with individuals from all walks of life. Lynn emphasizes enhanced body awareness, strength, breath, balance, injury awareness and prevention and mindfulness. Informing the body with healthy muscle memory, decreasing stress while optimizing energy, and creating balance mentally in order to lead a more satisfying and content life is her ultimate vision for her instruction. Having been a practitioner of both yoga and pilates for many years, Lynn feels the combination of pilates, yoga and dance creates the ultimate cross modality for a healthy mind and body.
Lynn has been on faculty at several Universities including The University Of Cincinnati-College Conservatory Of Music, Xavier University, and DeSales University as well the School for Tulsa Ballet and DeSales University Summer Dance Intensive. Currently, Lynn is an Adjunct Faculty Lecturer at Muhlenberg College, Cedar Crest College, and Lehigh University. Her Choreography has been seen on the mainstages of Lehigh University, DeSales University, Muhlenberg College, Parkland High School, and in Repertory Dance Theatre productions. Lynn is honored to be a member of the faculty of the Pratyush Sinha Foundation providing Yoga and Mindfulness education to inner city youth.
Lynn resides in Allentown, PA with her husband, four children, and their golden-doodle, Henry.
